It is Valentine's Day, aka Single Awareness Day (SAD).
Yesterday in Sunday School we had a quiz about the history of Valentine's Day. I learned that the group of people who receive the most cards are teachers. I might not have a boyfriend buying me a dozen roses, but I did get lots of Valentines cards, three little heart-shaped chocolate boxes, lots of suckers and sweetheart candies, a bracelet, and a beautiful bead necklace that one of my student's mom made.
So yes I am single and still consider this Single Awareness Day, but I do feel loved.
I also got a card from my mom and dad :)
And tonight I'm going to a dance here:
There could be some hope left for this day yet. ;)
